Honour to national martyrs

The first achievement of Punjabi Cultural and Welfare Association (PCWA) was on 10th July 1995 to get sanctioned the road name from sector 4 CBD Navi Mumbai to Bharati Vidyapeeth Engineering College as SHAHID BHAGAT SINGH MARG and two other roads on name of Shahid Raj Guru Marg and Shahid Sukhdev Singh Marg on 20th April 1998. It was supported by then wards cooperator Smt. Manda Tai Mhatre. The Punjabi Cultural & Welfare Association (PCWA) Paying tributes to the martyrs on 23rd March every year.






CIDCO Plot Allotment

Keeping in view of welfare activities of Punjabi Cultural and Welfare Association it was granted a plot of 630 sq. mtrs by CIDCO (City Development Co operation Organization) on subsidized price to built a community center in year 2003 at sec 8B CBD Belapur Navi Mumbai 400614


First Stone Of THE PUNJAB HERITAGE BHAVAN

PCWA is proud of laying the first stone of the community center which was named THE PUNJAB HERITAGE BHAVAN on 21st November 2004 with the hand of Sardar Tarlochan Singh (MP and Chairman of National Commission for Minorities). It was first heritage built out of Punjab state on the name of “Punjab”. With the tireless hard work and dedication of the working committee of PCWA it was fully completed on 30th September 2011 and certificated to occupy was received from the concerned authorities.






About PUNJAB HERITAGE BHAVAN

Punjab Heritage Bhavan is fully equipped with all the modern facilities. It is ground plus two floor building with large terrace and a bid AC Hall. It was inaugurated on 25th March 2007.






Ground Floor

Shahid Baba Deep Singh dispensary

On ground floor Punjab Heritage Bhavan has a Dispensary on name of BABA DEEP SINGH, called SHAHID BABA DEEP SINGH DISPENSARY. Where free treatment is being given to the needy patients. It is functioning with help of doctors from MGM hospital Navi Mumbai. Doctors are available from Monday to Friday for free consultation. It is open for everyone with no discrimination of religion, caste or creed. It also organizes free medical checkup camp / eye checkup camps etc

First Floor

Sher - e - Punjab hall

The Punjab Heritage Bhavan has an Air Conditioned hall named Sher - e - Punjab hall in the memory of Maharaja Shri Ranjeet Singh , On first floor with capacity of 300 hundred chairs, stage and two dressing rooms.

Second Floor

SHRI LALA LAJPAT RAI HALL

The Punjab Heritage Bhavan has a MINI Hall on name of SHRI LALA LAJPAT RAI, called SHRI LALA LAJPAT RAI HALL, to organize small parties which can accommodate approximately hundred members. It also provide stay accommodation for around 50 guests. Lala Lajpat Rai, (born 1865, Dhudike, India—died November 17, 1928, Lahore [now in Pakistan]), Indian writer and politician, outspoken in his advocacy of a militant anti-British nationalism in the Indian National Congress (Congress Party) and as a leader of the Hindu supremacy movement.

SHAHID BABA SHEIKH FARID LIBRARY

The Punjab Heritage Bhavan has a library on the second floor on the name of BABA SHEIKH FARID, called SHAHID BABA SHEIKH FARID LIBRARY, which have variety of books related to all religions, culture and general knowledge books. It is being provided free of cost to everyone.
